I had a person contact me and ask "What is wrong with her"? The person was telling them that they were monitoring my blog and that made it clear they did not want this new class action suit certified.

Court gives green light for Crown Ward Class Action against the Province of Ontario

THUNDER BAY, ONMay 29, 2015 /CNW/ - The Ontario Superior Court of Justice ruled yesterday that abused, neglected and re-victimized Crown wards may proceed with their class action against the Province of Ontario, despite government lawyers arguing that they did not owe a duty of care to the tens of thousands of children in their custody.
On May 28, 2015, the Province's motion to strike the plaintiffs' lawsuit was denied by Justice Pierce of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Further, Justice Pierce granted the plaintiffs' motion for an order that the first part of the test for certification is granted.
The proposed class action includes all children who were Crown wards at any time from January 1, 1966 – the date that the Province of Ontario voluntarily accepted legal responsibility and guardianship of Crown wards. The proposed representative plaintiffs, Holly Papassay, Toni GrannRobert MitchellDale Gyselinck and Lorraine Evans are former Crown wards of the Province of Ontario. These former Crown wards are seeking justice for the Crown's failure to protect them from the severe physical and sexual abuse they suffered as children while in the Province's care.
Currently, over 500 class members have contacted class counsel. Class counsel encourages former Crown wards to contact them to assist in these claims being advanced. Justice Pierce's ruling now allows the proposed representative plaintiffs to proceed with the next step in their class action, and ultimately one step closer to seeing justice.

The people in my life who monitor my blog lack the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.

The ability to identify with or understand another's situation or feelings: Empathy is a distinctly human capability.

Empathy is heartbreaking — you experience other people's pain and joy. Sympathy is easier because you just have to feel sorry for someone.

I am learning to forgive the people who have abused and neglected me. My mothers sisters will deny abuse but how can she deny neglect? I forgive my moms sisters because I realize different things now that I am getting older and I realize that they had their issues too.

My moms sister in Timmins is smart and can be friendly. She is smart and has reading and writing skills. She is smart and do anything she wants to but her low self esteem gets in the way and instead of spending her time achieving her goals in life she attacks me and hurts me and goes after me and does what ever her boyfriend or her mom wants and they want her to be stupid and not file claims with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board because if she did it would make them look bad for not helping her earlier. My advice to my moms sister is to move out of her moms apartment and leave her boyfriend and find a boyfriend that will respect her. She just stays with him because she feels like she owes him because he gave her $25,000 when she was way younger. My advice is to mediate your issues with my mom. My advice is to seek therapy. My advice is to start making the movie you said you were going to make about your life.

My grandmother is in Timmins Ontario. She lives with her adult child. She has  learning disabilities. She is not on Facebook and not on the internet so there is no way for me to help her file her claims with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board or for me to help her file a lawsuit against a school. My grandmother had a slip and fall accident more than 3 years ago and nobody in her life helped her. I was the only person   who cares enough to still be pissed off about the fact that I was robbed by my mothers sister. I would of loved to go to the lawyers office in Timmins Ontario and help my grandmother talk with the lawyers and complete the law firm forms and file a lawsuit and take photos of the injuries. My moms sister loves not being there for people. It makes her feel so powerful. Its disgusting. It really is. It is so disgusting. I have evidence of my claims too.

My uncle needs money and it needs to be used on therapy and hopefully the therapy will fix his issue regarding not being able to stay and pay rent. He is often homeless and the last time I saw him he was homeless.

My family wont like this post probably but to bad. I am defending myself. I was minding my own bussiness and posted a post in a Facebook group and my moms sister spies and I have evidence now. She is just upset that I am swinging back.  She can't take it when someone turns the tables on her.

My grandmother may have learning disabilities but that does not give my moms sister or her brothers the right to ignoring and give up on her and not work with her and help her learn how to read and write and maybe even help her file a claim with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board for the abuse they alleged they experienced by Joe while he lived at the homeless shelter in Timmins Ontario or file a lawsuit against the school for being negligent. My grandmother experienced a slip and fall accident and she has serious  injuries. I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO CARES ABOUT THE FACT THAT MY GRANDMOTHER COULD OF USED THE MONEY FROM THE SLIP AND FALL ACCIDENT ON HER FUTURE AND HER FUTURE HEALTH CARE OR MAYBE SHE COULD OF USED THE MONEY ON A NURSE...SHE COULD OF USED THE MONEY TO PAY A NURSE TO COME AND VISIT HER ONCE A MONTH WHEN SHE IS 89 YEARS OLD. I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO CARES AND THE FACT THAT I AM THE FIRST PERSON TO COMPLAIN ABOUT HER LOSE IS PROOF I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO CARES.

My grandmother had a son and he went into Children's Aid and he later killed himself. I was robbed of ever being able to meet him or attend a rally with him.

My mothers that what I am saying is true and that I have courage.

A advocacy group's success is driven by teamwork, not just by individuals because it takes a combined effort to meet at rallies and other important events and meetings and trials and courts. Every member of a group should ideally acknowledge and recognize his or her team member’s contribution at every event.

A team is like a stack of cards which collapses when one becomes weak. Thank you to each and every member for holding up all this while. Thank you for educating me about my right to record family.

Thank you for your support.

The group is here because families have nowwhere else to turn to because Ontario is the only province in Canada now allowing its Ombudsman to investigate systematic issues that arise with Ontario's Children's Aid.
Anyone who currently lives in Timmins Ontario and was abused while a crown ward would like to be admin, please ask!!!
